I chatted with alibaba support, 1 agent gave me the entreatment folio merely the appeal page requires you to select the card being appealed (of which there are none on file b/c the carte du jour is but saved to file after you use it 1 fourth dimension).
I went back to support and the adjacent amanuensis said I don't need to exercise the appeal, they promised to email me something afterward this night; no joy.
Been trying to pay all day. Usually the banking company card sends a text if something is suspicious and I can approve but nothing like that.

I was just reading something interesting in relation to my banks cc employ overseas.
It states that if a land has a 6 digit pivot organisation then my bill of fare will be declined everyday, I would need to modify my cc to 6 digit pin.
Here in oz it'southward a 4 digit system.
Non certain if this is relevant or not simply I thought I'd share because I'm hoping for a smooth transaction.

It declined on me a couple times. And so Amy said use the appeal which no carte du jour showed upwards. I uploaded I.D. and carte du jour and the next twenty-four hours it was approved. And that was on a weekend.

So on the Appeal folio when you uploaded your carte du jour and ID, wasn't the <submit> button grayed out?
Mine is grayed out since there is nothing to select on the showtime field "1. Choose the carte du jour for appeal" when you lot click it says "no options". And so the grade is waiting for that to exist selected to ungray the <submit> button.

I empathize you lot only have this one card that has plenty credit to cover the whole order. But it never hurts to try different cards. In my example, once I got that "appeal" push and clicked it, I can see all my previous cards (2 declined cards without "appeal" button + 1 declined with entreatment button) just showed up in the drop-downward card. I would recommend y'all do the same. Perchance our Platinum card volition announced magically after yous become that "appeal" button. So your can upload your ID and pic of your platinum card to entreatment that bill of fare. Just a suggestion.

And BTW, y'all can mark out sensitive info on our ID, like your DOB and some other info. I believe Alibaba just demand your name and your accost to exist matching with the info for your club. At least it is like this in my case. I know giving out names and addresses is even so a concern to some. But information technology'south better than sending the unabridged ID image out.

I delete information technology and enter the address associated with the card here in the Philippines. Does anyone think this could exist flubbing things upward?
Maybe I should enquire the seller to draw up another buy but listing my abode address on it, make the payment, and then he can change to the Chinese accost?

I'm an American but I'm in the Philippines. the Philippine gov't is quite friendly with Cathay, and then that shouldn't exist an issue. The credit card is as well Filipino and I have not identified myself every bit American.

OK so I followed this since it seems similar your situation is closest to mine. I merely tried to pay with a dissimilar card (which I knew would fail as it has no boodle on it), then I tried to pay once again with the Platninum carte, but to emulate the pattern of success which you had Greg. And so here's my question, that Appeal page, there is no link to it form the payment failed folio.
I accept the link because the 1st support agent at Alibaba gave me the link when I asked for information technology.
So here I uploaded once again my D.L. and C.C. pic to that page, but since in that location is no card on file the <submit> button is grayed out. How did you get past that? (see bottom of motion picture, no way to click submit). Cheers in advance!
